The vacuum sand box for EPC (Expendable Pattern Casting) is a key piece of equipment in expendable pattern casting production, playing an indispensable role in the EPC process. It is applicable to the production of large, medium and small-sized castings, enabling multi-pattern assembly, improving casting yield and reducing casting manufacturing costs.

Classified by different applications, it includes complex sand boxes and simple sand boxes. The box body is assembled from steel plates, channel steel, stainless steel mesh, seamless steel pipes and grid bars, featuring a neat appearance and long service life.

Complex sand boxes are divided into bottom-dump type and side-dump type, generally adopting five-sided or six-sided air suction internal fixing structures. This design creates an optimal negative pressure field inside the sand box during the vacuum-pumping process, ensuring that fully-filled castings achieve excellent forming quality without defects, and facilitating convenient sand unloading.

For castings with simple shapes that do not require high uniformity of the negative pressure field during pouring, simple sand boxes can be adopted. They are usually of the tilt-dump type, adopting three-sided, four-sided or five-sided air suction external fixing structures, which are designed according to the customer's actual requirements.
